 Today in class we started to learn about Emily Dickson. She apparently didn't get famous until after she died which is sad to me. We read one of her poems which was called I felt a funeral in my brain. This poem was about being mentally ill and losing your mind. Me and my class analyzed the text with the help of our teacher. This poem was about a lot more than what it might look like. This poem could have different meaning to others but to my class and to me it was about feeling yourself dying or like your losing yourself when it comes to mental illness.
