Rockpile New Ending

 His father looked down at him and then back at his mother. John placed the lunchbox next to his father. "Get up boy" his father replied. John stood up straight with a slight fear in his eyes. No one spoke for a moment till John started to walk away. "John grab your sister for me I need to finish helping Ray, and Gabriel if you land a hand on that boy Ray won't be the only one hurt." Elizabeth glared at her husband before going back to helping Ray. John had grabbed Delilah and followed after his mom. Gabriel was left alone in the room with silence, no footsteps of his family, and no screams or cries for Ray or Delilah either. Elizabeth went to sit next to Ray and shortly John sat next to them with Delilah in his arms. No one knew that Ray going to the rockpile would end like this. John felt guilty because his father blamed him for it and his mother could tell. "John don't blame yourself for this, Ray went out and that's on him but there is no one to blame but the person who did this to him." John started to feel a little better about it and sat in silence with his family.
