 In our class today we had taken notes on argumentative writings. We wrote down should's and should not's of our topic and then picked a claim. The choices for claims were School districts should be allowed to enforce demeaning punishments for violating school dress code or School districts should not be allowed to enforce demeaning punishments for violating school dress code. Everyone in the class had picked the second option and we finished our claim out. School districts should not be allowed to enforce demeaning punishments for violating school dress code because it does not allow students to express themselves. From the text we had read today we had pulled two pieces of evidence to go with it and we explained it and created a paragraph together as a class.
