 We started to read a new book today. The book was called the color purple. I had never heard of or read this story before. Many people had said the book and movie were good just long to read and watch. We started reading and how the story began I was not expecting what happen to be happening. I was shocked by the things that took place in the book. We had only gotten to letter 7 and this book was already not what I was expecting from people talking about it.
